Vantage Merchant Services, Inc. was founded by industry veteran Tim Hutteger. Since 1996, Hutteger has assisted over ten-thousand merchants with enhanced processing solutions, reduced fees and personalized support.

Prior to starting his first payment processing company, Hutteger worked for a competitor as a sales representative. While achieving much success and leading the team in production for six consecutive years, Hutteger believed major changes were needed with regards to pricing flexibility and merchant support. The one-size fits all approach to pricing and the impersonal call center model for customer support were quickly replaced with customized pricing and personalized merchant support once Hutteger launched his own payment processing company in 2002.

As President & CEO of Vantage, Hutteger believes in taking a hands-on approach to running the business. “Verifying every processing proposal for accuracy and being accessible to merchants are ways to instill and promote a business culture centered on accountability.”
